Grey horses really do inspire the racing public particularly ones like Rooster Booster who come up through the handicap ranks and make it to the very top.
This little oil study is from Newbury in 2002 when he finished second in the Tote Gold Trophy, finishing fast and late from an impossible position. He went on to win a further six times after this race, culminating in the Champion Hurdle in 2003.
