APPROACHING THE NEXT Oil on board, 16 x 25 inches Living in West Wales gives me ample opportunity to visit the many point-to-point meetings that are held during the winter months, particularly in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire , as long as the weather isn't too disheartening.  This painting is from Cilwendeg, a lovely course from both a spectators and photographers point of view as the field are only briefly out of site during most races.  Here the principals are approaching the second fence having traveled uphill from the first.
