HARCHIBALD Oil on board, 12 x 18 inches Harchibald is a real enigma. At times he has looked brilliant and duly delivered the goods, at others he has flattered to deceive. He really should have won a Champion Hurdle but never has, being beaten a neck by fellow Irishman Hardy Eustace in 2005.  He's won the Bula at Cheltenham and the Fighting Fifth (twice) as well as many other quality races both here and in Ireland.  A grand horse and no mistake, despite his quirks.
