BEST MATE Oil on board, 12 x 16 inches The triple Gold Cup winner and Champion Chaser who tragically died at Exeter  was one of the leading lights at Henrietta Knight's stable and a joy to watch in his brief career.  It was no mean feat to keep this horse sweet and fit to win three consecutive Cups and though he may not have run as often as the stars of the past he still deserves his place amongst them.
